President’s Message

Greetings Sorors and Friends,

On behalf of the sensational sorors of Knightdale-Wake Forest Alumnae Chapter, thank  you for visiting our website.  Knightdale-Wake Forest Alumnae was chartered on May 11, 1996 by twelve dynamic sorors who desired a smaller chapter in the Wake County area that would afford younger members the opportunity to work and hold leadership positions within the chapter. Thanks to the hard work of these hard working charter members, KWF Alumnae has grown to a membership of approximately 130 members. We are approaching twenty years of service in the Wake County areas and continue to focus on service and sisterhood.

On August 22, 2015, KWF Alumnae will sponsor it’s first “East Wake Community Day: Back to School Celebration” in Wendell. We are excited to showcase the chapter’s services and meet the citizens in our service areas. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of others. This is just the first of many service activities planned for our communities.

Our major programs are based on the Sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness and Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Political Awareness and Involvement

If you are a member of our illustrious sisterhood and looking for a chapter, I invite you to join us at a chapter meeting and/or an event. Please take some time to visit our innovative web site for more information about the Knightdale-Wake Forest Alumnae Chapter. There’s always an activity planned with you in mind.

JuJuan Mitchell
